The press conference will provide detailed insights into "what happened on September 11" focussing on the intelligence failures of the Bush Administration. Details will be provided on the "money-trail" behind the terrorists. The issue of "foreknowledge" and political accountability by members of the Bush Administration will also be examined.
What are the implications for G8 leaders, who in the immediate wake of 9-11 unequivocally endorsed the Bush Administration's so-called "war on terrorism", including the repeal of civil liberties and the relentless bombing of civilian targets in Afghanistan? Will this fragile G8 "consensus" prevail in the face of mounting evidence that the Bush Administration had advanced knowledge of the attacks and failed to act.
The next stage of America`s war is the invasion of Iraq. What position will the G8 and alliance partners take in this regard? What is the position of the anti-globalisation protest movement?

Il est maintenant av�r� que l'administration Bush savait ce qui se preparait, et n'a rien fait pour l'emp�cher. Alors qu'au mois de septembre, le G8 avait donn� un appui sans r�serves aux �tats-Unis, aujourd'hui des divergeances se dessinent non seulement au sein du G8 mais �galement entre partenaires de l'OTAN. Est ce que cette fragile unanimit� du G8, concernant la dite "guerre contre le terrorisme" va pr�valoir, alors que l'integrit� du pr�sident am�ricain est remise en question par l'opinion publique int�rnationale.
